STOP PRESS! The closing date for surveys to be handed in on completed on-line has been extended to August 16th!

Think! Burnham Group has been formed from many of Burnham’s existing voluntary organisations, with the encouragement of the County, District and Parish Council, to undertake what is referred to as a ‘market town health check’. The aim is to encourage all those who live, work and/or care about Burnham to think about how we all can improve the quality of life in Burnham over the coming years. Please help us by completing the online survey. Click on the link below. Printed versions will also be available in the June/July edition of Round and About and from several venues in the village.

There are four sections to the survey; each is concerned with a different aspect of life in Burnham. To assist you in the completion of each section we have suggested some topics. We are keen to receive your personal observations and views on all or any one, of these matters. We welcome everyone’s views whether they concern issues that may be resolved quickly or those that will require more effort to change.

Our aim is to obtain a minimum of 2,000 completed surveys by 31st July 2008 as it is very important to us to obtain a representative view of the concerns and hopes of the people of Burnham. To encourage you to take part there will be a series of prize draws. We are very grateful to all the local businesses who have donated prizes.

PRIZE DRAWS - There will be a prize draw with every 200 surveys we receive as we progress towards our goal of 2,000 plus completed  surveys up until our closure date of 31st July 2008. Each prize will be a meal for two – (subject to appropriate conditions - one prize per person only) from the following venues.

Akash Tandoori
Burnham Beeches Hotel
Palmer Arms
China Garden
Grovefield Hotel

We will be communicating our findings throughout the period of the survey, not only through the web-site but also via Round & About, the local press and other media.
