Burnham Oasis Project is a resource for the whole community. There is a well equipped computer room with free internet access. Regular activities at the flat  include children's clubs, Cyber cafe and a variety of courses.

Books, DVD's, audio cassettes, CD Roms and magazines are all available to borrow or hire. There are computers with Internet access available to use at an hourly rate. There is a Learn Direct suite offering a variety of computer courses. Story time for children aged under 5 is held on Thursdays from 2.30pm - 3.00pm.  During the school holidays a variety of children's activities are held and there is also an Adult's Reading Group which meets regularly.

The library is also a source of local information including reports, minutes of Council meetings and all forms of local events and activities.

For people who have difficulty visiting the library because of poor health or limited mobility, the Home Library Service exists to deliver books to your home. There is no charge for this service. There is also a mobile library service, which operates on alternate Tuesdays in the Burnham area.
