The Burnham Health Promotion Trust

When Burnham Health Promotion Trust was set up it commissioned Berkshire Health Promotion to conduct a Community Profile of Burnham and to recommend areas for action. The Community Profile Report was completed in 1999 and identified nine main areas to be addressed and made several recommendations for action :

    -  Targeting areas within Church Ward and Lent Rise Ward where deprivation is highest
    -  Addressing needs of older people
    -  Focussing on facilities for young people
    -  Increasing opportunities for all to improve levels of physical activity
