Burnham "A Carer is a person of any age who provides regular and substantial care, on an unpaid basis, to a relative or friend of any age who, through frailty, illness or disability, would not be able to live independently, without them." |

Local Walks "Simply Walk" Short led walks in various locations (approx.1 to 3 miles in length). "Simply Walk" is part of the national "Walking the Way to Health" initiative. Fridays - every Friday - 10am "Simply Walk" - Meet at Cornerstone, St Peter's Church, Burnham. Up to one hour in length. 1st Monday of the month - 10.30 am "Simply Walk" - Meet at Methodist Church, Eastfield Road, Burnham. Approx. 45 minutes in length.
3rd Tuesday of month -
2pm "Simply
Walk" - Various
routes including Burnham Beeches, River Thames, Dorney.
This is a longer walk - up to one and a half hours in length on varying
terrain.
1st Wednesday of month - 10am "Simply Walk" - Meet in the Community Room, Burnham Health Centre. This is a gentle introductory walk (about half an hour) - ideal for people who have not walked with the "Simply Walk" group before. 3rd Sunday of month - 2.30pm "Simply
Walk" -
Meet at The Glade , Victory Cross, Lord Mayor's Drive, Burnham Beeches.
Up to one hour in length. |
